For customers interested in booking tours on Wednesdays there is the
possibility that we will be unable to include St. Peter’s Basilica and
St. Peter’s Square in their itinerary. This is due to the weekly Papal
Audience during which access to St. Peter’s Basilica may blocked off
from the Museums. As an alternative we offer an extended itinerary
within the Vatican Museums, which still includes the Sistine Chapel and
Raphael’s Rooms. If they would prefer a tour with St. Peter’s Basilica
and Square guaranteed to be included, we advise them to select another
tour date.
Customers should read and accept this advisory and agree to accept the
alternative itinerary, should St. Peter’s Basilica be closed. They
should not be allowed to proceed with their booking before being alerted
of the conditions of a Wednesday tour.
